He was married to the late Ann (Ferdinand) McEnnis of Chelmsford who died in 2013.
Born in Chelmsford on December 13, 1954, the son of the late Charles F. and Lillian E. (Moss) McEnnis. He attended Chelmsford High and graduated from Nashoba Technical High School with the class of 1972.
He worked for his family business, Chelmsford Home Improvements and later he became the co-owner of, McEnnis Construction, with his brother. He retired from Benchmark Senior Living at Robbins Brook in Acton, MA as the facilities manager.
Mark was a member of the Nabnasset American Legion Post #437.
He was a longtime resident of Chelmsford. He moved to Maine three years ago after his wife’s passing.
He is survived by two sons, Mark S. McEnnis and his wife Pamela (Soto-Gonzales) of Tyngsboro, and Sean M. McEnnis of Rockwood, ME; a brother, Charles McEnnis of Rockwood, ME; a sister, Karen Gagnon and her husband Joe of Dracut, MA; Four Grandchildren, Nicholas, Mitias, Mark, and Victor, and many nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of life will be at the Nabnasset American Legion Post#437 114 Dunstable Road, Westford, MA from 2-6pm on Wednesday Jan. 20th.
