Mildred G. (DeCosta) Bryan, 96, of North Chelmsford, formerly of Malden, MA died Thursday June 2, 2016 at the Lowell General Hospital in Lowell.
Born in Provincetown, MA on April 9, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Winifred DeCosta. She was raised in New London, CT and graduated from New London High School with the Class of 1938.
Mildred worked as an Office Manager and retired in 1985 from Extra Corp. of Everett, MA in 1985. She loved bowling and Bocce.
She is survived by her son, Edward Bryan and his wife Patricia of N. Chelmsford, MA; her daughter, Carol Ann Disciullo and her husband, Carlos of Ft. Myers, FL; a sister, Barbara Hopkins and her husband, Kenneth of W. Peabody, MA; two grandchildren, Jenelle Dolan and Skip Bryan; three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Ernest, Arthur and Manuel DeCosta and Winifred Shebertes.
There are no visiting hours. Funeral Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, MA. Cremation at Merrimack Crematory. For those who wish contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assn 480 Pleasant St. Watertown, MA 02471.
