Muy Chek of Lowell, MA

Muy Chek, 79, of Lowell, MA died Friday, November 4, 2022 at Lowell General Hospital.

She was married to the late Voeun Chek.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia, she was the daughter of the late Chek Khun and Menh Loeun.

Muy came to the United States in July 1985 and later became a U.S. citizen in 2007.

She was a longtime resident of Lowell who enjoyed cooking, sewing, and watching Thai movies.

She is survived by her son, Voeth Chek of Fresno, CA; her daughters, Hoeuy Voeun and husband Sok Sao of Lowell, MA, Pha Voeun and husband Chhom Chhin of Greensboro, NC, Dang Voeun and husband Eric Vann of Lowell, MA; fourteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
