Phon Ou

Phon Ou, 85, of Lowell, MA died Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Town and Country Nursing Home in Lowell, MA.

He was married to Say Seke.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia, he was the son of the late Ou Sek and Yin Bu.   He attended school in Cambodia.

He proudly served with the Cambodia Army.  While in Cambodia he served as a Monk and worked as a dentist.  He came to the United States in 1982 and became a United States Citizen in 2000.

He was active member of Wat Khmer Samaki Santikaram Temple of Chelmsford, MA.

He was a volunteer at the Cambodian Mutual Assistance Association.  He enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Sophal Ou, Nok Ou, Na and his wife Kimberly Ou all of Lowell, four daughters, Thun Ou and her husband Phan Long of Lowell, Sandra Ou of Lowell, Wanda Ou of Jacksonville, FL, Samnang Ou of Lowell, two brothers, Pun Ou, Pim Ou and his wife Hom Ou both of Cambodia, a sister, Bun Ou of Cambodia, along with 19 grandchildren, two Great- Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Phon was the brother of the late Ny Ou.

His visitation will be Friday March 8, 2019 from 1:30 to 2:30 P.M. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, followed by a procession to Wat Khmer Samaki Santikaram Temple of Chelmsford, MA. Funeral Saturday, March 9, at 8 AM from the Wat Khmer Samaki Santikaram Temple followed by services at Merrimack Crematory at 10 Henry Clay Dr. Merrimack, NH.
