Prang Chin, 79, a longtime resident of Lowell passed away Thursday morning, February 13, at Northwood Rehab and Health Care Center in Lowell.
She was born in Kompong Speu, Cambodia and was educated in Cambodia.
Mrs. Chin came to the United States in 1982 after a Lutheran Church sponsorship, and became a citizen in 1995.
She loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Chin was predeceased by her husband, Neang Phan who passed away in 1976, a son, Barank Chin, a sister, Chel Chin and a brother, Oul Chin.
She is survived by her children, Jock and his wife Tim of Cambodia, Thai Chin, of Cambodia, Tholl Chin and his wife Phear Ban of Lowell, Thy Chin and his wife Sopheap Young of Lowell, Kelley Chin of Lowell and Net Chin and her husband Roeum Thong of Lowell, 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her calling hours on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 2PM to 6PM at the Dolan Funeral Home, 106 Middlesex St., N. Chelmsford. Her Visitation will follow the calling hours on Sunday from 1PM to 2PM at the funeral home followed by her procession to Wat Khmer Samaki Santikaram. Her funeral procession will leave the Temple on Monday, February 17, at 8AM and conclude at Merrimack Cremation Services, 10 Henry Clay Dr., Merrimack NH.
