Mr. Raul Carrasco, 43, of Westford, MA died unexpectedly Friday, August 17, 2018 at Lowell General Hospital.
He was married to Mrs. Vanessa (Luciano) Carrasco with whom he would have celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary on November 3, 2018.
Born in Methuen, MA he was the son of Carmen V. Guerrero of Lawrence, MA and the late Alfredo Carrasco. He was a graduate of Greater Lawrence Technical Vocational High School with the class of 1994. He attended Northern Essex Community College.
Raul was self-employed, owning and operating Carrasco Business Services of Westford, MA.
He was a member of the Boston Church of Christ.
He was a member of Autism Speaks, ACLU and Disability Law Center. Raul was a family man who was dedicated to his boys, lovely wife, family and dear friends. He enjoyed gardening,fishing,and helping other people.
Besides his wife and mother, Raul is survived by four sons, Aryon, Adonis, Dariel, and Aiden Carrasco all of Westford, MA; two brothers, Jose and his wife, Wendy Carrasco of Kissimmee, FL, and Alfredo Carrasco of St. Peters, Fl; five sisters, Maria Carrasco, Xiomara Carrasco, Jasmine Carrasco, Marysol Dejesus, and Maryluz Dejesus; and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Ivan Carrasco.
Visitation will be Wed from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. followed by Funeral Service at 10:30 at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, MA. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Westford, MA. I know Mr. Carrasco through his son, Adonis. Such a nice, nice man. He was devoted to his family and a contributor to the positive things in the world: he was one of the good guys that we all need. He will be missed by many. This is a real loss, not only to his family but to everyone. RIP Raul Carrasco.
