    Dear Marilyn, Mark and Cheryl:

I have such wonderful memories of Mr Hamlin over the years. They began many years ago at Immanuel Baptist Church during my “Pioneer Girl” days and more recently just bumping into Marilyn and Roger at the grocery store. Every time I saw Roger he always remembered my name, always had a smile and a hug for me, always asked about my folks and about me and John. Such a wonderful guy!

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this very sad and difficult time.

    Love, Brenda

To the Hamlin family – So sad to hear the news of Roger. What a kind and sweet man. My last encounter with him was bumping into him and Marilyn at the store. He had heard the news of the passing of my Mom and was comforting and hugging me as he was tearing up. His kindness was touching and I knew he had cherished memories of our families in younger days. Please accept my deepest sympathy and my prayers as you grieve and heal. God bless you all.
