Samon Say, 67, of Lowell, MA died Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital.
She was married to the late Bunyoeun Am who died on December 4, 2014.
Born in Kampot, Cambodia, she was the daughter of Chea Yem who lives in Lowell and the late Oum Say, of Cambodia.
She was a member of the Wat Khmer Samaki Santikaram Temple and is very well known in the Cambodian Buddhist community.
She came to the United States in 1981 and became a U.S. citizen in 1999.
She retired from Straumann of Andover, MA.
Samon enjoyed gardening, cooking, and was very active in her temple.
She is survived by daughters Terry Em of Lowell, Bunnary Am and husband Bryan Elliott of Pelham, NH, Mollica Am of New York, Linda Am of Lowell, sister Susan Say of Lowell, grandson Allen Sin of Lowell, as well as many nieces and nephews.
