William “Bill” Picariello, 76, of Chelmsford, died suddenly Friday, January, 4, 2019 at his home.
He was married to Nellie W. (Pouliot) Picariello with whom he celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary in May.
Born in Boston, MA on July 23, 1942 the son of Joseph and Jennie (Pepe) Picariello, Brother of the late Joseph and Charles Picariello.
Bill was a graduate of Newton North High School and Bentley College of Boston.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division “Screaming Eagles”. He was also a Special Forces, Green Beret, Ranger, and Sharp Shooter during the Vietnam War.
He retired as the owner of the Quick Shopper of North Chelmsford. He owned and operated Dawn Realty Trust as well. He previously worked at Boston Museum of Fine Arts and then the corporate office of DeMoulas Markets.
He was a member of the Lowell Sportsman Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Along with his beloved wife, he is survived by two daughters, Dawn Bisinger of Pepperell, MA and Jennel Lebrun and her husband Ronald of Erwin, NC; three grandchildren, Danielle Bisinger, Cullen LeBrun, and Teagan LeBrun; as well as many nieces and nephews.
