Yoeum Tim, 73, died Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at North Shore Medical Center in Salem, MA.
He was married to Soth Noum since 2008.
Born in Battambang, Cambodia, he was the son of Yath Thim and Sien Yang.
Yoeum was a high school graduate and came to the United States in November of 1980, later becoming a U.S. citizen.
A longtime resident of Lynn, he was employed by Bard of Billerica, MA.
He enjoyed politics, especially Cambodian politics. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Boston Celtics.
Besides his wife, Yoeum is survived by his sons Warren Tim and wife Sinath Heng of Lowell, Sela Tim and wife Nazanin Namvar of Dracut, Paul Tim and wife Phallim Tim of Dracut, Kosal Noum of Lynn; his daughters Montha Tim and husband Kane Phiv of Lowell and Alytah Noum of Lynn; nine grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
