Vimlaben Patel of Lowell, MA

Vimlaben Patel, 93, of Lowell, MA died early Monday, November 11, 2019 at Lowell General Hospital after a long illness.

She was married to the late Mr. Vallavbhai Patel who died at the age of 41 years.

She was born in Amod, India on May 26, 1926, the daughter of the late Dadabhai and Gallalba Patel.

She came to the U.S.A. in February 1982, with the help of Pravin Patel her oldest nephew, and became a US citizen in 2012.

She was a member of Dadabhagwan Group of Lowell, MA; where she practiced her Hindu faith.

She enjoyed caring for others, cooking and gardening.  Vimlaben loved to spend time with her grandchildren, and Rupali who she raised from two months until she was twelve years old.

She is survived by a son Rajendra and his wife, Rashmi Patel of India; two daughters, Urvashi and her husband, Rajendra Patel, and Pragna Patel all of Lowell, MA; a sister, Savitaben Patel of India, and seven grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
