Adrian Knyff Jr of Hollis, NH

Adrian Knyff Jr., 77, of Hollis, NH, died Tuesday, June 14th, 2016 at Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford, MA.

He was married to Pamela O’Connor with whom he celebrated their 2^nd wedding anniversary on May 16, 2016.

Adrian was born in Boston on August 24, 1938 the son of the late Adrian and Doris Knyff Sr. He was a graduate of Boston Latin High School with the class of 1956.

He served with the U.S. Navy.

In his early years, Mr. Knyff was a professional race car driver. He was also the former owner of the A&B speed shop of Boston and retired from a Toyota dealership of Florida in 2005

Besides his wife Pamela, he is survived by two sons and their wives, William and Julie Knyff of Billerica, MA, and Adrian and Erin Knyff of Tewksbury, MA; a daughter, Donna Barretto of Methuen, MA; a sister, Wilhemina Anastosi of New Bedford, MA; five grandchildren, a great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

He was the father of the late Linda Knyff of Boston who died in 2005. He was also the brother of the late Aart Knyff who died in 1971 and Ruth Knyff of New Bedford who died in 2014.

Visiting hour will be Tues. from 6 to 7 P.M. followed by a Memorial Service at 7 P.M. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD. Memorials may be made in his name to Liam Nation, 11 Sharon St., Tewksbury, MA  01876.
