Mrs. Betty Ann Murphy of North Chelmsford, MA died Friday, August 26, 2022 at Life Care in Acton, MA
Born in Passaic, NJ, September 22,1939 the daughter of the late Raymond and Emily (Fetsman) Whitcomb. She was a graduate of St. John’s High School, Paterson, NJ with the class of 1956.
She was employed for 15 years as a commercial rater for Sentry Insurance Co., Concord, MA, and was previously employed by The New Jersey Bank & Trust. Many of her years were spent at home raising her children.
Betty was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, Chelmsford, MA.
She is survived by one son, Thomas Murphy and his wife, Bonnie Murphy of Bradenton, FL; two daughters, Maureen Kelley and her husband, Richard Kelley of North Chelmsford, MA, Kathleen Rondeau of North Chelmsford, MA and eight grandchildren, Bryan and Patrick Murphy, Kevin, Lauren and David Kelley, and Joshua, Rebecca and Nicholas Rondeau.
She was the mother of the late Edward Murphy, and sister of the late Marilyn.
