Celyne Casey of Margate, FL

Mrs. Celyne (Guimont) Casey of Margate, FL, died Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at home.

She was married to Harry J. Casey who predeceased her on April 26, 2022.

Born in Cp. St. Ignace, Quebec, Canada on December 5, 1940, the daughter of Leonard and Marie Ange (Brie) Guimont.  She was a graduate of Quebec School System with the class of 1956, and received her Business Degree in 1958.  She was employed as the Administration Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools for the Pelham School District.  She was also employed with Digital for 11 years retiring in 1992.

She was a communicant of St. Margaret’s Church in Lowell and St. Patrick’s Church in Pelham, NH where she also sang in the choir.

Celyne is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Shawn Casey of Melbourne, FL, and Todd and Lisa (Stromgren) Casey of Tomball, TX; a daughter and son-in-law Karen M. and David Peguero of Delray Beach, FL.; three sisters, Denise Guillemete of Quebec, Canada, Laurette Roleau of Ste. Foy, Quebec, Canada and Helene Guimont of Ste. Foy, Quebec, Canada; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and thirteen nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Martin Guimont and Jean Louis Guimont, brother-in-law Raymond Guillemete, brother-in-law Pierre Roleau, sister-in-law Miriam (Casey) Lanoue and brother-in law Edward Lanoue.

FUNERAL NOTICE

A Funeral Mass will be held 10AM on Tuesday, October 18 at St. Patrick’s Church, Pelham, NH.  No visiting hours.  Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Lowell.  Memorials may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Foundation.
