Chea Hoa, 94, died Saturday, July 29, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, he was the son of Sunhoa Tan and Liv Preak. While living in Cambodia, Chea worked as a farmer on his own homestead. He moved to the United States in 2006 and later became a U.S. citizen in 2011.
Some of the things Chea enjoyed most were dressing up with spritzes of cologne, playing hackey-sack, and above all else spending time with his family. He also enjoyed traveling back to Cambodia to visit with friends and family in his hometown.
Chea is survived by his two sons; Kimson Chea of Cambodia, Sem Chea of Cambodia, his four daughters; Mary Chea of Austin, TX, Nara Chea of Lowell, MA, Keang Chea of Lowell, MA, and Pov Chea of Cambodia, his nineteen grandchildren, and his thirteen great-grandchildren.
