D. Henry Sullivan of Tyngsboro, MA, formerly of Chelmsford, MA

Henry Sullivan, 66, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at his home in Tyngsboro. Born in Woburn, MA he was the son of the late Henry and Madelyn (Watson) Sullivan. Henry graduated from Chelmsford High School with the class of 1974 and later graduated from Worcester State University in 1978. He continued his education at the Massachusetts School of Law, graduating with a J.D. in Law and continued on to the Massachusetts Bar in 1991 and the Massachusetts District Court Bar in 1992.

He was a former communicant of St. John the Evangelist Parish, N. Chelmsford, MA where he continued to be a monthly participant in the Men’s Ministry. When Henry eventually moved to Tyngsboro he became a communicant of the Parish of Saint Mary Magdalen, Tyngsboro, MA where he bicycled to Mass regularly. Henry was a weekly attendee of the Table of Plenty, Chelmsford, MA where he enjoyed the company of his many friends. He also enjoyed to frequent the Tyngsboro Public Library and became close with many of the people there. Henry enjoyed watching old movies that he found while flipping through the channels especially Casablanca, WWII Movies and countless older films.

Henry leaves behind several cousins and extended family members in California, Florida and New Hampshire, as well as countless friends he made in the Church and community.

A Funeral Mass will be said at St John the Evangelist Church at 115 Middlesex Street in N.Chelmsford on Tuesday (7/25) at 9 AM. No visitation is planned and a private burial will take place at the family grave at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence at a later time.
