Donna J. Crowell R.N. of Allen, TX, formerly of Chelmsford, MA

Donna Jean Crowell, RN, 73, a resident of Allen, TX, died on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Medical City Hospital in McKinney, Texas.

Born in Lowell, MA on May 12, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Pauline (Fallon) Crowell. After graduating from Chelmsford High School in 1967 she attended Lemuel Shattuck Nursing School and Springfield Technical College, obtaining her degree as a Registered Nurse. Donna worked at Tewksbury State Hospital, and Baystate Mental Health until her retirement in 1990. After retiring she continued to work as a Psychiatric RN at Lowell General Hospital.

Donna was an avid sewer. She enjoyed traveling, embroidery, and making jewelry. She was devoted to her family.

Donna is survived by her three brothers and one sister, Thomas and his wife Cheryl Crowell of Tyngsboro, MA, George and his wife Rebecca Crowell of Allen, TX, and Scott Crowell and his companion Karen Sturtevant of Hollis, NH, her sister Paula and her husband Kevin Chamberlain of Raymond, NH, sister in-law Barbara Crowell of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and several nieces, nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews. Donna was also predeceased by her brother the late Richard Crowell.
