Lillian (Ceaser) Goodman, 93, of Lowell, MA died Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Care One in Wilmington.
She was married to the late Benjamin Goodman who died September 3, 1993.
Born in Chelsea, MA on February 17, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William and Laura (Brenton) Ceaser. She grew up in North Reading, MA and attended L.D. Batchelder High School. She lived in Lowell for the past 25 years.
After school, she went to work for Bicknell & Smith of Boston as a Title Examiner and later Mortgage Survey Consultant, Inc. of Billerica. In her later years, Lillian owned and operated two thrift shops, Shanksmare Thrift Shop and Goodies Thrift Shop, both located in Billerica.
She also enjoyed bowling and gardening, but her true love was the many rescue dogs that she owned and cared for over the years.
She is survived by her three brothers, Albert Ceaser and his wife Rita of Merrimack, NH, William Ceaser and his wife Karen of Wilmington, MA, and George Ceaser and his wife Peggy of St. Augustine, FL; two sisters, Glenda Toomey of Rumney, NH and Adele Mae Barnes of Lake Panasoffkee, FL, and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late John Ceaser, Joan Cox, Laura Sheehan, and Edward Ceaser.
