Man Mel a longtime resident of Lowell

Man Mel, age 87, a longtime resident of Lowell, died Thursday, August 17, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was married to Trorp Leng with whom he would have celebrated their 29^th wedding anniversary on September 3, 2018.

Born in Prey Veng, Cambodia, he was the son of the late Prum Morn and Jhu Khuit.   He came to USA in 1981.

He proudly served with the Cambodian Army.

He enjoyed Cambodian Politics. Man loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Samy Morn of Cambodia, Tommy Khat and his wife Naroom “Stefanee” Khat-Tek of Lowell, and Kevin Khat and his companion, Rose Sitthirath of Billerica, MA, a daughter, Rotna Leng and her husband, Vyraak Kol of Lowell, MA, and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 20^th from 1:30 to 2:30pm at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX ST., CHELMSFORD, MA.
