Mao Kim, 62, of Lowell and formerly of Lynn, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.
Ms. Kim was born and educated in Battambong, Cambodia and was the daughter of Boun Sackoe of Cambodia and the late Toch Nuch
Mao came to the United States in 1982 and earned her citizenship in 1995. For many years she was employed at the Westin Hotel in Boston.
In her free time she enjoyed coupon cutting for shopping trips, going to flea markets and going out for dinner.
Ms. Kim is survived by her children James Oeurnuch of Framingham, and Jean Oeurnuch of Lowell and a granddaughter Jayleen Poum as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Friday, June 21, from 1:30PM to 2:30PM at the Dolan Funeral Home, 106 Middlesex St. N. Chelmsford, MA. Her funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home at 2:30PM concluding at Glory Temple, 24 Cambridge St, Lowell, MA. Her funeral procession will be leaving Glory Temple on Saturday June 22, at 8:30 Am, concluding at Linwood Crematory, 41 John Ward Ave. Haverhill Ma 01830.
