Mary Ellen McGrath, 68, of Lowell, MA, formerly of Chelmsford, MA, died Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital.
Born in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late John McGrath and Massy Paelin.
She graduated from Chelmsford High School, Chelmsford, with the class of 1973.
Mary Ellen was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Chelmsford.
She was a homemaker who loved being a mom and spending time with sons, sharing with them her favorite pastimes of cooking and gardening. She loved her cats.
Mary Ellen is survived by her sons Justin Walsh of Lowell, MA, Thomas McGrath V of Lowell, MA, Sean McGrath of Pepperell, MA, two grandchildren Thomas McGrath VI and Briella McGrath, her brother Phillip McGrath of Lowell, MA, and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Crystal McGrath who died June 1, 1986.
