Rien Thim of Lowell, MA

Rien Thim, 77, of Lowell, MA died Sunday, November 27, 2022 at High Pointe Hospice in Haverhill, MA.

She was married to the late An Khim who died on December 9, 2000.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia, she came to the United States in February 1985 and later became a U.S. citizen in 2009.

She was a member of the 5^th Street Evangelist Church. She was a very active member of the church, as a former treasurer and former head of the choir.

She enjoyed singing gospel music. Her faith and family were very important to her. She also enjoyed cooking and gardening.

Rien is survived by her sons, David Khim of Lowell, MA, Timmie Khim of Lowell, MA, Sokhun Khim of Linwood, WA, Sytha Khim of Lowell, MA, and Songhak Khim of Lowell, MA; her daughters Melanie Chanthapho of Nahsua, NH, Chantha Pearce of Atkinson, NH, Chanthy Khim of Oakland, CA, and Saly Khim of Fresno, CA; 32 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
