Rin Leng of Lowell

Rin Leng, age 82, of Lowell, died Saturday night at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was married to the late Khann Chea.
Born in Battambang, Cambodiaon on June 3, 1935 the daughter of the late Maul Leng. Rin never knew her dad because he died at a young age.
Rin came to the United States of America in 1984 and became a United States Citizen in Chicago, Illinois in May of 2001.
She raised three generations of her family. She was a farmer in Cambodia and California.
Rin loved going to Casino’s.
She was a member of the Glory Temple in Lowell.
She is survived by her sons: Loy Leng and his wife, Mao Mean of Cambodia, Sovann Chea and his wife of Tennessee, and Sor Chea of Farmington, NH; daughters, Sam Chea of Lowell, Kim Heng Chea of California, Nev Chea and her husband, Mao Lim of Round Beach, Illinois, Noun Chea and her husband, Khourn Ly of Lowell, and Geneve Chea of Lowell; a brother, Jhang Leng of Wisconsin; thirty five grandchildren twenty two great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Mee Leng.
