Roun Or of Lowell, MA

Roun Or, 77, of Lowell, Ma died on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at Lowell General Hospital.

He was married to Yong Ye with whom he celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary in October.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia he was the son of the late On Or and Kon Re.

He graduated from high school and served in the Royal Cambodian Army. He was a farmer in Cambodia. He came to the USA in September of 1984 and became a US Citizen in 2010.

Roun was a member of Vatt Khmer Temple in Lowell.

He enjoyed gardening and raising his family.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Chamnan Roun and his wife Kimsong Leng of Cambodia, Tony Roun and his wife Jenny Seang-Roun of Cambodia, Derek Roun and his wife Sophanna Tith of Lowell, David Roun and his companion Thon Chey of Chelmsford, Jerry Roun and his companion Sarina Sary of Lowell, Sally Roun and her husband Sena Khun of Tyngsboro, MA; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
