Samly Sysouphanh of Lowell, MA

Samly Sysouphanh, 58, of Lowell, MA passed on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, MA.

On April 1, 1963, he was born in Vientiane, Laos. Due to war in his country he fled to the United States as a refugee in 1984 in search of a safer life and better opportunities.

He held a diverse work background ranging from construction, manufacturing and more. He was a handyman and was always fixing things around the house. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, going out with friends, cooking, and working on cars.

He was known for his sense of humor and his skill of making everyone around him laugh. He was outspoken and passionate about his beliefs and always voiced what was on his mind. He took the most pride when it came to his family. Whenever he spoke about his children and grandkids you could sense the love he held for them.

He is survived by his children, Alee of Lowell, MA, Maxine of Newark, NJ, Navon of Lowell, MA, and Kiana of Manchester, NH; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Wat Buddhabhavana Temple, 25 Milot Rd. Westford, MA 01886.
