San Duong of Lowell, MA    

San Duong, 91, of Lowell, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 14, 2022, at home surrounded by loved ones.  She was born on June 5, 1931, in Battambang, Cambodia.

She was the wife of the late Chhang Meak.

San came to the United States in 1985.  She was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family and friends.

San was a member of the Wat Khmer Samaki Santikaram Temple in Chelmsford. She loved going to the temple and was very involved in temple life.

She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, especially Solitaire, watching Thai soap operas, and visiting grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was most loved by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She will be deeply missed.

San is survived by her three daughters and their spouses, Lann Duong and her husband Michael Sok; Len Duong and her husband Chhoeuth Phal; and Samoeun Duong, all of Lowell, MA; her grandchildren and their spouses, Map Soun and his wife Aimee Soun; Linda Duong- Sengphonexay and her husband Xaysana Sengphonexay; Deang Duong; Rith Phal and his wife Souvilayvanh Phal of Leominster; Sarath Phal and her husband Sophan Yin; Saroeuth Phal of Rhode Island; Dara Phal; and Rakada Duong; eleven great-grandchildren, Kevin, Kennis, Jayden, Aiden, Skylar, Alyssa, Audrey, Trevor, Mason, Ethan, and Maxwell.  She is also survived by several cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 21^st at 4PM at Wat Khmer Samaki Santikaram Temple, 85 Tyngsboro Road, N. Chelmsford. Funeral will be held on Saturday, October 22^nd at 8AM at Wat Khmer Samaki Santikaram Temple, followed by a procession to Branch Street, then to Merrimack Crematory, Merrimack, NH.
