Sandra Camille Adamson of Lowell, Massachusetts

Sandra Camille Adamson, 84, of Lowell, met her Lord on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Northwood Rehab in Lowell, MA.  She was the daughter of William Adamson and Barbara Misenheimer Adamson of Covington, Indiana.

Sandra graduated from Purdue University with a BA in Education. Early in her career, she taught in Texas and California. She started and directed an English-as-a-Second-Language Program in Lowell for a number of years.  She served as a missionary in Cambodia, Uganda, Kenya, Sudan, and Ethiopia, dedicating herself to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  She served the elderly and disabled as a home health aide in the Lowell area.  In recent years she taught in Lowell Public Schools.

She was a member of Northeast Christian Church in Tewksbury. Countless people loved and revered her.

Sandra is survived by her nephew Clark Smyth and his wife Corey of Sheridan, Wyoming; her niece Jennifer and her husband Matthew Curti of Salt Lake City, Utah; her brother William Adamson and his wife Dinny of Charlotte, Vermont; her brother-in-law Clark P. Smyth of Boulder, Colorado; and her very good friend Charity Wanjiru of Lowell, Mass. She was predeceased by her sister Sarah Smyth.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Her Celebration of Life will be part of Sunday morning worship at the Northeast Christian Church, 995 Andover St. in Tewksbury at 10:30 am on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Memorials may be made in her name to Northeast Christian Church.
