Sarin Keo of Lowell

Sarin Keo, 87, of Lowell, MA died Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Lowell General Hospital.

He was married to the late Em Sam who passed away just two weeks prior on July 26, 2021.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia, he was the son of the late Nhim Keo and Tout Keo. Sarin came to the United States on May 23, 1985 and became a US Citizen in October of 2004.

He was longtime resident of Lowell and a faithful Budhist, who was very active in the Glory Temple.

In Cambodia Sarin was a rice farmer where he also enjoyed harvesting sugar palm syrup. He loved listening to classical music and even played the violin himself.

He is survived by his sons and their wives Hasan Keo and Hanna Yao of Lowell, MA, Leap Keo and Roth Sam of Fort Luptom, CO and his three daughters Samantha Keo of Lowell, MA, Ay Keo of Lakewood, CO and Keilani Keo and Damon Dos of Lowell, MA. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Glory Buddhist Temple at 3:00 pm. Funeral Monday, August 16, 2021 at 1pm from the Glory Buddhist Temple. Procession to Merrimack Crematory, Merrimack, NH.
