Sokhom Ses of Lowell, MA

Sokhom Ses, 55, of Lowell, MA passed away September 30, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital surrounded by her loving family after a lifelong battle with kidney disease.

Born in Battambang, Cambodia, she was the daughter of Nib Ket of Lowell, MA and the late Vorn Ses. Sokhom moved to the United States with her family in 1984 at the age of 16. After moving to the United States, she attended Lowell High School. She was a member of the Trairatanaram Buddhist Temple of N. Chelmsford, MA.

Sokhom enjoyed cooking for her whole family and helped raise her nieces and nephews. She also took care of her parents as they got older. Some of the other things that she enjoyed most in life were cross word puzzles, knitting, and playing cards.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her daughter Doaroeung Ses of Lowell, MA, her two brothers; Chanthou Ses of Lowell, MA, Chanthan Ses of Lowell, MA, her three sisters; Sarim Ses of Lowell, MA, Chreb Ses of Lowell, MA, Phal Ses of Lowell, MA, and her several nieces and nephews.
