Sophon Prak a longtime resident of Lowell

Sophon Prak, 60, a longtime resident of Lowell, Ma Passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Lahey Medical Center in Burlington, MA.

He was born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

He served with the Cambodian Army.

Mr. Prak came to the United States in 2002 and became a US Citizen in 2007.

He was working at Tecomet in Acton, MA and was the former husband of Kanyaphon Kajapornsiri.

Sophon enjoyed Cambodian Politics, cooking and music. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and friends.

He is survived by his children, Visuth Park and his wife Srou Lin of Lowell, MA, Piseth Prak and Visuth Prak of Cambodia, Sophanya Prak and her companion Veasna Ngeth of Lowell, Socheata Thy of Cambodia, and Sovanmonita Prak of Lowell; He his also survived by eleven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Prak was the last of eleven brothers and sisters.
