Thao Thou, 81, a longtime resident of Lowell, MA.

Thao Thou, 81, a longtime resident of Lowell, MA, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020 at Lowell General Hospital, surrounded by his children. He was born in Battambang, Cambodia and is the son of the late Ou Thou and Ros Ung.

Thao came to the United States in 1978 and started his career as a Manufacturing Associate at Fuji Film Inc. in Bedford, MA, where he retired. Thao was a huge fan of Prime-Time boxing, UFC and Chinese action films and enjoyed watching with family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and was loved and respected by many.

He was the husband of the late Yim Vong, who passed away December of 2018.

Mr. Thou is survived by his children, Thavrith Thao, Thavrath Thao, Thavrak Thao and Melina Sorth and her husband Sophun Sorth, all of Lowell, MA, two grandchildren, Landon Sorth, Hunter Sorth and many family and friends.

His visitation and funeral service will be privately streamed at www.dolanfuneralhome.com on Friday, April 17, 2020 from 1:00pm – 3:00pm, with a funeral service to follow at 3:00pm.
