Twyla “Bette” Gurich of Chelmsford, MA

Twyla “Bette” (Hill) Gurich of Chelmsford, died Sunday afternoon, February 28, 2016 at Palm Center in Chelmsford.

She was married to the late Louis A. Gurich who died March 6, 2003 after 60 years of marriage.

Born in Los Angeles, CA, on May 5, 1924, the daughter of the late Willis and Grace (Mosteller) Hill. She was a graduate of Pol Tech High School in Los Angeles, CA, with the class of 1941.

A resident of Chelmsford for over 49 years, Twyla was employed with Discom Inc. in Westford, retiring in 1986.

Mrs. Gurich was a communicant of St. Mary Church of Chelmsford.  She was a member of the Chelmsford Senior Center.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Marcie (Gillis) Gurich, Jr. of Arlington; two grandchildren, Douglas Gurich and Thais Mougne.

She was the mother of the late Linda Lee Gurich of Chelmsford who died Jan. 11, 2000 and sister of the late Dale Hill of New York and Willis Hill of California.

Visiting hours Wed. 4 to 7:00 PM. Funeral Thursday at 10:00 AM from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Mary Church, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford, MA. Burial in Hart Pond Cemetery, Chelmsford.
