Agnes “Nancy” Melancon, 87, a 55-year resident of Dunstable, MA died Thursday February 23, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital.
She was married to the late Raymond Melancon who died in May of 2003.
Born in Lowell, MA, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Margaret (Abernethy) Paton.
She graduated from Lowell High School, with the class of 1953.
In her spare time Agnes loved to spend time in her garden, go shopping and traveling to Amish country in Pennsylvania.
She is survived by her son Scott Melancon of Dunstable, MA, her two daughters Rae Ann Melancon of Milford, NH and Sheila Melancon of Tyngsboro, MA. Carrie Rowe of Hudson, NH, who was like a daughter to Agnes. Her four grandchildren, Caitlin Bobo, Devon Bobo, Raymond Melancon and Adam Melancon. One great grandchild, Foxx Flanagan along with one niece and five nephews.
She was the sister of the late Thomas Paton.
