I am truly sorry to hear that Al passed away. I knew him through the bee club where he always was helpful to everyone and had a good sense of humor. He gave you the feeling that he really enjoyed this life. I will try to make the visiting hours but am not certain yet.

Nelson worked for us at New England transit for a few years after hus retirement from Polaroid and was a wonderful person to have around. He was always willing to do anything to help others and was well liked by his fellow employees abd customers alike. We all are saddened by his loss and will miss him greatly.

I was lucky enough to be a friend of Al’s for over 11 years. After meeting him through a mutual friend in Dunstable we became fast friends. We enjoyed many of the same activities; hunting, fishing and playing cribbage. He introduced me to beekeeping and I introduced him to my friends. He was always the first to offer to help and to roll up his sleeves. He will be sorely missed. Shoot straight, See you on the other side. Sleep well my friend. Bob

Al always brought a smile and a room filling laugh. He taught me so much as my beekeeping mentor with a clumsy start and my ‘artful’ fly tying endeavors. He was always patient with my questions and generous with his knowledge. I miss him deeply and he lives I my heart ever full of laughter and mischief. My good friend.

My Heart is very sad today. I have procrastinated for so long a time. He was my very Best Man at my wedding and in my young life. He was always there for me when I needed him. Rest well my friend and no kibitzing with Pat on my arrival. Soon enough my friend. Our mutual friend Linda just called to let me know you had joined God to help him keep things in order. WHen you see Ray please say HI for me and sorry I missed him. We learned a lot from him. God Bless you my friend, rest well. See you soon.

Although Nellie and I haven’t seen each other in a long time, we had some wonderful times together at the Tyngsboro Sportsmen’s Club over the years. We became friends when we co-chaired our popular 3D archery shoots at the club. He was such a pleasure to work with and we both had many things in common – we loved the outdoors, loved to bow hunt, and especially liked to brag about our daughter(s). Nelson was a class act, the ultimate gentleman, and a really good guy. Memories of Nellie will continue to bring a smile to my face.

    Kelli –

I’m so sorry for your loss. I apologize that I can’t be there tomorrow evening, but my thoughts are absolutely with you and your family. As a fellow only child, I definitely understand how difficult it must be to lose a beloved parent. I’m here for you if you need anything – just say the word!
