Alicia Vargas, 84, of Lowell, MA died Sunday April, 12, 2020 at Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the last Jose and Selicita Vargas. She graduated from Ponce High School with the class of 1954.
She moved to New York in 1982.
Alicia was a devote Jehovah Witness. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Alicia was a strong woman with a heart of gold.
She is survived by a daughter Ines A. Melendez of Lowell, a son, Jorge Colon of Lowell, six grandchildren, Alexandra Colon, Jeanette Caraballo, Mickael Torres, Elmer Torres, Edwin Alcantaro, Jorge Alcantaro, Alexander Alcantaro, and nine great grandchildren.
No Funeral or Visitation.
