Andrew “Andy” J. Lambert, 85, a 50 year resident of Westford, MA died unexpectedly Thursday, September 21, 2017 at his home in Westford.
Andy was the husband of Emily (Hilbrunner) Lambert with whom he celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on July 1, 2017.
Born in Lowell, he was a son of the late Albert and Marie Lambert. He was raised in Lowell.
He proudly served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Andy retired from Kodak of Bedford in 1990 where he worked as a Maintenance Supervisor.
He was a communicant of St. Catherine Church in Westford.
Andy enjoyed travelling and cycling. Andy was a talented and skilled woodworker.
He was a member of the Franco American Club of Westford.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Bruce Lambert of Littleton, MA, Brian Lambert of Amherst, NH; two daughters and a son in-law, Theresa Corriveau of Nashua, NH, and Lorraine and Peter MacDonald of Sterling, MA; two sisters, Sr. Anne Marie Lambert of St. Louis, MS and a brother-in-law, Richard Shepard of Lowell, MA; a sister in-law, Hilda Lambert of W. Melbourne, FL; eight grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son in-law, the late Richard Corriveau of Nashua, NH, his brother, the late Raymond Lambert of W. Melbourne, FL and his sisters, the late Sr. Rachel Lambert of Michigan and the late Priscilla Shepard.
Visiting hours Tues. 3 to 7 P.M. Funeral Wed. at 8am from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a Funeral Mass at 9am at St. Catherine Church in Westford, MA. Burial in the Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn, MA. Memorials may be made in his name to the Society of our Mother of Peace, Older Sisters, 6150 Antire Rd., High Ridge, MO 63049.
