Ann Marie G. (Laurent) Gary, 59, of Chelmsford, MA died Thursday, March 5, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was married to Jan M. Gary with whom she would have celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary on May 15, 2015.
Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Pauline Laurent. She graduated from Lowell High School with the class of 1974.
Annie was a cafeteria worker for the Lowell Public Schools for twenty years, retiring in 2011.
She enjoyed playing cribbage. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Gary and her companion, Josiah “Jay” Doole; one son, Christopher Gary and his companion, Rebecka Hughes; one sister, Susan and her husband, Donald Hand of Chelmsford; two brothers, Francis Laurent of Lowell and Michael Laurent of Lowell; eleven grandchildren, Lindsay Doole, Grace Doole, Hollie Doole, Amber Gary, JoAnna Gary, Ryleigh Gary, Olivia Gary, Zackory Gary, Jason Doole, Jesse Doole and John Doole, and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Judie Higson of Lowell who died in 2006.
Visiting hours Sun. 2 to 6P.M. Funeral Mon. at 8A.M. from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chelmsford. Memorials may be made in her name to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168. So sorry for your loss of a wonderful person as Annie was the wife , mother, sister, Aunt , sister- law friends and family it saddends us to learn that she passed away and she will be so missed by us all .She fought this battle with cancer and was so very braved for 7 years and gave it her very best fight ,she will reside in heaven and she will be greatly missed forever and we will always remember all the good times she shared with all of us through her life with her family and friends , RIP Annie !!! We love and miss you already now !!!
