Ann Shirley Morrissey of Nashua, NH

Family and friends, work and play, filled the life of Ann Shirley Curran Morrissey. Born on September 29, 1934, to William M Curran and Bertha M Nadeau Curran. She left Lowell Ma for nursing school in Cambridge Ma in 1952. There she met, and married the late, Robert Morrissey, (1957), a Cambridge firefighter. Together for 52 years, they continued with their respective careers and parented six children.

She is survived by her three daughters, Kathleen O’Brien and husband Timothy O’Brien, Margaret Morrissey and her husband John Deutschmann, and Elizabeth Timperio. Her three sons, Michael Morrissey and wife, Michele Morrissey, Thomas Morrissey and his partner Paula Terrio, William Morrissey and his wife Diane Morrissey and 13 grandchildren. She is also survived by her 2 sisters Theresa Curran and Peg Stanton. Also, sister of the late Mary Curran and mother-in-law to the late David Timperio.

She died on September 28, 2023, while residing at the Huntington in Nashua, New Hampshire, and will now rest in peace in the memories of those she loved and left behind. In lieu of flowers those wishing to contribute to St. Jude Children’s Research may do so in Ann’s memory.
