Barbara A. (Morrison) Annis of Lowell formerly of N. Chelmsford

Barbara A. (Morrison) Annis, 83, of Lowell formerly of Chelmsford died Friday, October 13, 2017 at Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell.

Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Cyril and Elizabeth Morrison. She attended the Chelmsford school system.

Barbara was crowned Miss Lowell in 1950.

She worked as a machinist at Microwave Association of Burlington, MA for many years.

Barbara was a member of the Weddeln Ski Club in North Conway, NH where she enjoyed ski racing. She attended many functions at the American Legion Post 313 in N. Chelmsford. She enjoyed being with her family during the holidays.

She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.

She is survived by her three sons, Frederick and his wife, Linda Annis of Dracut, David (Charles) and his wife, Roberta Annis of Dracut and Richard Annis and his partner, Judy Rossi of N. Chelmsford; daughter, Donna Huf and her partner Len Whitney of Lowell; a sister, Elizabeth Morrison of Florida; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara was the grandmother of the late David M. Annis of Dracut who died July 13, 2017, and the sister of the late Charles Morrison of N. Chelmsford.
