On November 12, 2016 Betty Jane “ Nini” Ivers left us to join her husband Frank who passed in 2011 after 52 years of marriage.
She raised two children, Diane Hibbard and her husband Craig of Chelmsford and her son Scott and his wife Linda also of Chelmsford all of whom were proud to call her mom. She leaves five grandchildren. Cari Talbot and her husband Christien of Brookline NH, Erin Woods and her husband Mark of Merrimack NH, Tim Ivers of Chelmsford, Amanda Messinger and her husband Matthew of Hanover Ma, and Michael Hibbard of Chelmsford all of whom will cherish the memories only the greatest grandmother could provide. She will be missed by her five great grandchildren Mackenzie , Orion and Flynn Talbot, Jackson and Ava Woods who will grow up knowing what being truly loved is. She also leaves behind her brother David Hart and his wife Sandra of Burlington.
Nin would always be at the field, the rink or the recital and was her happiest when she was with her family. As the family cruise director, there was no adventure Nin would miss.
Through her many activities she also leaves behind many dear friends from the Chelmsford Senior Golf League, Senior Cribbage League, her knitting group and her Texas-Holdem Poker buddies.
Visiting hours Wednesday 3 to 7 P.M. Funeral Thursday at 10AM at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD.Inurnment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. Do you Scott and family, I am so saddened to hear of the passing of your mother. She is and was a wonderful lady. I enjoyed being a part of her golf and at the Elks. So very sorry for your loss she will be greatly missed.

We have the fondest memories of Betty. She was a “Nin” to all the kids friends growing up, and we’ll always remember her for her love of her family and her amazing personality. Betty was always giving to someone, but our most recent memory of her helping out at the first aid table during the Parkinson’s Bike Race with her daughter Di especially sticks in my mind because it was just a couple of months ago. She never complained about the heat, and stayed until the end of the day. Betty wanted to be at both the starting and finishing line to watch her family ride. What impressed us most, is that she didn’t want to miss a thing when it came to the Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. If an event was going on, and she could be there, she would. She will be so sorely missed by all that knew her. Our prayers are with both Scott & Linda and Di & Craig along with their loving families during this difficult week. Love, Kim and Les

I am so sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. Betty was a wonderful neighbor and friend.
She was so nice and welcoming when I moved to Mission Crossing 3 1/2 years ago.

We met Betty and Frank in 2011, starting cleaning their unit at Mission Crossing since then, and she was a wonderful and thoughtful person always. She will be missed. Juarez and Beth.

We are so very sorry for your loss. She was a special lady who had a knack for making people feel comfortable. We remember meeting her for the first time and after official introductions were done she said just call me Nin everyone else does!

Truly a great loss. Betty and Frank were the neighborhood parents welcoming all who came and many came. Betty loved her family, friends and just about everyone. She loved life always. God’s Blessing to the family. She will always be remembered and certainly missed.
