Brian John Stanton of Chelmsford, MA died Sunday night, February 13, 2022 at Northwood Rehab in Lowell.
He was married to the late Mary Jo (Hart) Stanton who predeceased him on September 30, 2021.
Born in Lowell, MA, he was the son of the late John T. Stanton and Blanche (Deschenes) Stanton. He graduated from St. Joseph High School with the class of 1963.
He proudly served with the U.S. Navy as an Interior Communications Electrician, Third Class on the USS Boxer.
Brian retired from the Town of Chelmsford as a Firefighter. He was a member of the Electric Union Local 103.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed driving his motorcycle.
Brian is survived by his daughters Monique and Brian Cassidy of Chelmsford, MA and Meghan Stanton of Lakeway, TX, his son Matthew Stanton of Chelmsford, MA, his sister Shirley and Joseph Overend of Syracuse, NY, a sister-in-law, Janet Hart of Reading, MA, 8 grandchildren, Kendall, Aiden and Charlie Stanton, Abigail, Patrick and Zachary Cassidy, Laci Swift and Avery Dion, and several nieces and nephews.
He was the grandfather late Declan Cassidy.
