Cecelia Ferreira of Chelmsford

Cecelia Ferreira, 90, of Chelmsford died unexpectedly Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Lowell General Hospital.

Cecelia married Paul F. Charbonneau on December 23, 2016.

Born in Chelmsford, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Ferreira. She graduated from Chelmsford High School with the class of 1945 and a proud life-long resident of Chelmsford.

Cecelia worked as a lab technician for twenty-two years at Millipore of Bedford retiring in 1990.

She was a communicant of St. Anthony Church in Lowell.

Cecelia enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing bingo and traveling to Foxwoods. Cecelia loved her dogs.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Joseph Ferreira, John Ferreira, Anthony “Tony” Ferreira, Alfred Ferreira, Manuel Ferreira, Mary Sousa and Theresa Simard.

Visiting hours Wed. 4 to 7 P.M. Funeral Thurs. at 9am from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 10am at St. Anthony Church, 893 Central Street, Lowell.
