Charles Fredrick Clancy, Sr., 73, lifelong resident of Chelmsford, MA died Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was married to Gloria A. (Bacon) Clancy with whom he would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on October 29, 2021. Born in Worcester, MA, he was the son of the late Charles Francis Clancy and Gertrude (Leriche) Clancy.
He graduated from Chelmsford High School with the class of 1965.
He proudly served with the Army Reserves/National Guard.
He retired as a Truck Driver and in his younger years worked as a Master Diesel Mechanic.
He was a member of Local 49 Teamsters and former V.P.
He enjoyed antique cars, motorcycles, and stock car racing.
Besides his wife he is survived by his son, Charles Jr. and his wife Susan Clancy, of  Hollis, NH. His two grandchildren Zachary and Angelene. His sisters Kathleen and her husband Thomas Archibald of Chelmsford, MA, Carol and her husband James Rondeau of Clarksville, TN and his brothers David Clancy and his wife Nancy of  Marlow, NH and Paul Clancy and his partner Jennifer Gervais of Amherst, NH and many loved nephews and nieces.

    He was always helpful and true friend . One that would do the right thing no matter how hard it might be .
