Cheryl M. Harris, 66, of Lowell died Saturday December 24, 2016 at her home after a long illness, surrounded by her family.
Born in Arlington, MA on April 27, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Lorraine Harris. She was raised in Brighton and graduated from Brighton High School with the Class of 1968. She earned her associates degree from Co-op Northeastern University.
Cheryl worked as a nurse at Family Care of Tewksbury, MA with Dr. Escoll. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and also enjoyed playing cards.
She was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church in South Chelmsford.
Cheryl is survived by three sons, Timothy Warshafsky of Lowell, MA, Derek Warshafsky and his wife Krystal of Nashua, NH, Daniel Warshafsky and his wife, Nichole of Nashua, NH; 5 grandchildren, Cole, Cameron, Layla, Broc and Hunter Warshafsky; two brothers and their wives, Richard and Ann Harris of Brighton, MA and Ronald and Mary Anne Harris of Cape Cod; two sisters, Linda Harris of Rosindale, MA and Lorraine Harris Chelmsford, MA and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Robert Harris of Brighton, MA.
There are no visiting hours. Her Memorial Service will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. January 2, 2017 at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church 242 Boston Rd, Chelmsford, MA. ARRANGEMENTS BY DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 978-251-4041. Guestbook at www.dolanfuneralhome.com
