Christina Marie Manolopoulos, 71, of Westford, MA died Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Community Hospice House surrounded by her loving family.
She was married to Emanuel Manolopoulos with whom she would have celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on October 17.
Born in Lawrence, MA she was the daughter of the late Francis and Gloria (Fuoroli) Barretto.
She graduated from Dracut High School with the class of 1969. Christina is a graduate of Lowell State College with the class of 1973 where she received her Batchelor’s in English and her Masters in Library Science from Simmons College.
She owned and operated Everlasting Flower Design of Westford, MA.
She was a communicant of St. Mary Church in Chelmsford, MA and a former communicant of St. Catherine of Alexandria parish of Westford, MA.
Christina was an animal lover, especially her dogs Arlo and Zoey. In her free time Christina loved to decorate her parish, work in her garden but most importantly spend time with her family.
Besides her husband, she is survived by sister, Sharon and Robert Nista of Tyngsboro, MA, her brother, Steven and Kay Barretto of Salem, NH, her mother-in-law Evangeline Manolopoulos of Lowell, MA, her brother-in-law William Manolopoulos and wife Gerri of Westford, MA, her devoted second mother, Aunt Ida Giunta of Nashua, NH and Aunt Lillian (Barretto) Peek of Tampa, FL, her nieces, Marissa Manolopoulos and Gloria Barretto Granoff, her nephews, Jarred Barretto and William Manolopoulos and many cousins. ..
She was the sister of the late Alan Barretto.
Christina Marie Manolopoulos died Thursday, July 28, 2022. Visiting hours Monday, August 1, 2022 from 4-7 P.M. at DOLAN FUNERAL HOME, 106 MIDDLESEX STREET, N. CHELMSFORD, MA. Funeral Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 11 A.M. at St. John’s Church, No. Chelmsford. Burial in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford, MA. Memorials may be made in her name to Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue.
