Claire M. (Rivard) Lorman, 80, of Nashua, NH formerly of Tyngsboro passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 surrounded by her family at her home after a short and courageous battle with cancer.
She was married to Frederick Lorman with whom she celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on July 24, 2017.
Born in Nashua, NH, she was the daughter of the late Aime Joseph Rivard and Irene (Prince).
Claire loved to travel and solve crossword puzzles. Nothing meant more to Claire than being with her family, kids and grandkids and she meant everything to all of them.
Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Lisa Marie Lorman of East Hampstead, NH, Brian Scott Lorman of Nashua, NH and Kim Marie (Lorman) Johnson of Hudson, NH; siblings, Ronald Edward and his wife, Ruth Mae(Shea) Rivard of Merrimack, NH, Robert Raymond Rivard of Merrimack, NH, Roy Paul and his wife, Carol Sue (Smith) Rivard of Massena, NY, Walter Wilfred “Mike” and his wife, Cheryl Ann (Masterson)Rivard of Englewood, FL, Brenda Lee (Bartisavitch) Notini of Lowell, MA, John and his wife, Tina (Vanderbyl) Bartisavitch of Port Charlotte, FL and Patricia (Bartisavitch) Bailey of Port Charolette, FL; grandkids, Jessica Marie Lorman, Joshua Scott Lorman, Tyler Scott Lorman, Ashley Marie Lorman, Brian Scott Lorman, and Sarah Elizabeth Johnson; great grandkids, Cadence Marlee Mimms, Brayden Douglas Moreau, Caydence Marie Lorman and Parker Steven Lorman and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Edith Exzilda (Baker) Higgins, Rita Jeannette (Baker) Bernard, Roland and his wife, Elaine Blanche (Smith) Kulingoski, Philip Maurice and his wife, Sally A. (Bouley) Kulingoski, Amie Leo and his wife, Elaine Louise (Marco) Rivard, Albert Thomas Rivard and Richard Normand Rivard.
Visiting hours Fri. 10-11A.M. Funeral Service at 11A.M. at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, MA. Burial in the Memorial Cemetery, Tyngsboro, MA. Aunt Claire you were an amazing woman. I wish we lived closer to you so we could’ve seen more of you but we sure made some great memories when we did get to see you. I will always be your mini me and that is something that I am so proud of you! Love to all the family wish I could be there!

I’m so sorry to hear of Claire’s passing. She was a wonderful person. I last saw Claire about five years ago. I’ve known her over sixty years. Claire’s parents and siblings were a big part of my life when I was growing up. I’ll try to make the wake, but, if I don’t, take care and best wishes to all.
