Connor graduated from Tyngsborough High School, Tyngsborough, MA, with the class of 2017. He was a graduate of Westfield State University with a bachelor’s degree in communication with the class of 2021. Connor is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Robert Shepherd of Lowell, MA, who died in September, 1991.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Flanagan and Mollie, I was so very sorry to learn of Connor’s passing. I remember our brief visit in the governor’s office when Matt Malone brought you all in to say hello. Connor was an example even then of grace under fire — clear-eyed but optimistic and hopeful. He was blessed to have your unconditional love and support. Still, your pain must be unmanageable and pray God gives you strength and comfort. Please accept my sincere condolences. Deval Patrick
