David Paul Mahoney 61, of Chelmsford, MA died Monday, December 14, 2020 at his home. Born in Boston, MA on November 13, 1959, he was the son of Paul E. Mahoney (now deceased) and Patricia A. (Millar) Mahoney-Adams (with whom he shared a home). He is survived by his sons Nathan and Jonathan Mahoney of N. Chelmsford, MA; his mother Patricia of Chelmsford; his sister Deborah and Dennis Delworth of Wilton, NH; his brothers John Mahoney of Chelmsford and Scott Mahoney of Windham, NH. He is also survived by three step-sisters Dawn and John McClay of Lowell; Ruth Adams of Nashua, NH and Heather and Cal Seng of Waukesha, WI and many neices and nephews.David was the brother of the late Timothy M. Mahoney of Chelmsford, MA. David was a graduate of Nashoba Tech High School in Westford, MA part of the class of 1978. He was employed with Estes Express Lines Trucking of Billerica and received his CDL through Andover Tractor Trailer School. David was an outdoorsman who enjoyed camping in the lakes region. He had a lifelong passion for aviation (including flight lessons) and absolutely loved spending time with his sons, especially taking them to Belle Isle Seafood in Winthrop, where they would watch the air traffic coming in and out of Logan International Airport.
