David William Castle, 65, of Lowell, formerly of Hudson, NH, died unexpectedly Saturday evening, September 22, 2018 at his home.
Born in Shelton, CT, he was the son of Howard and Virginia Castle of Cleveland, GA. He graduated from Sheldon High School.
He proudly served with the U.S. Air Force in Saudi Arabia.
He was working at Frank’s Heating of Tewksbury for several years where he was a master sheet metalist.
David enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, and dancing. He was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Bruins fan.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his beloved partner for the past 12 years, Karen Gokey of Lowell; two sons, Jason Castle of Needville, TX, and Derrick Castle of West Des Moines, IA; a daughter, Alix Castle of West Des Moines, IA; a brother, Dan Castle of Lindale, Georgia; two sisters, Robin Reeves of Fort Mill, SC and Cindy Brown of Okeechobee, FL; his partner Karen’s daughters, Julieann and Karen Goodwin, both of Lowell; and Karen’s grandchildren, Hayley Goodwin, and Zackery Duffen; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Andrea Castle who died in 2006. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him.
David’s visiting hours will be Friday, September 28, 2018 from 10am to 12 Noon followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon at the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD. ARRANGEMENTS BY DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 978-251-4041.
