I will miss her “Oh-mylanta” every day. Diane was just lovely to work for. I’m so saddened by her unexpected departure. I can hear her now: “well that didn’t go as expected” and “you have to be frickin’ kidding me”. I loved it all; she made me laugh especially with her Bostonian accent. We spent a lot of time together virtually especially in the days leading up to her leave-of-absence. Once work was done, we caught up on personal events and such. She was just that caring of a person. I will miss her as a collegue and as a friend. She was so special. God Bless you all during this hard time, coping with the hole she has left in so many of us.

I want to send our family’s condolences to Diane’s entire family and friends. While I have only known Diane virtually since February, she had a great impact on my transition form one company to another. She had the knowledge to help when I needed it and always in a humorous manner. In the last few days I have learned just how much she was loved, admired, and appreciated by our company. She befriended the majority and is loved by many. My thoughts, prayers, and condolences to all who knew her, we can consider ourselves blessed to have had Diane in our lives.

I would affectionately say to Diane “that’s why you’re the world’s greatest HR”, because you could always count on her to make sure we were doing the right thing for our employees. I will personally continue to run it by Diane in my mind and in my heart. Diane, we love you and will miss you dearly.

It was truly a pleasure getting to know Diane both professionally and personally. She was one of the first persons I met after I retired from the Air Force in July 2011 and started with Engility. She always was a friendly voice on the phone and even more so in person. When Rich Munson and I started FirstDiv and needed an HR Director, I was excited that Diane was willing to come on with FirstDiv even though we were a small, start up company. She has been with us from almost the very start of the company and instantly became part of our FirstDiv family. She continued to be that friendly voice that all our employees turned to for their HR needs. Diane will be missed.

Diane was an amazingly talented HR Manager, but more importantly a wonderful person. She volunteered to help premature babies in a children’s hospital, helped new employees learn the ropes, posted tips for enjoying Disney rides in her entertaining blog, listened to friends in need, and had countless other gifts. She shared these gifts selflessly and positively shaped countless lives. She will be missed.

In life Diane was my friend. At work Diane was my comrade in arms. She was kind, patient, funny and hard working. When I faced new challenges and Diane could feel my stress starting to build she taught me to say to myself something that her mentor had once taught her, “Here is another opportunity for me to excel!” It became our inside joke. I will miss her jokes, her laugh, and her support. I think I will always hear her voice in my head, encouraging me, when life tests me.

Ms. Diane even though we have never met you were essential to me when I first started with First Division in every possible way. You were so kind to me and so patient with me and I will never ever forget you and how you assisted me in everything and took your time with me. I will miss you dearly, your kind voice, and your words. Rest in peace always Ms. Diane and my condolences, prayers, and thoughts are with your family and loved ones always. I can see why God would have wanted you in heaven with him because you truly were an angel here on earth. Love Always The Brown Family.

My condolences to the entire Rega family. We all know how we are all caught up in our every day happenings, and before we know it, that opportunity passes us by. While I hadn’t spoken to Diane in awhile, she was never more than a thought away. Her loss is devastating. Her family left wondering. I’ve read the kind words that people have left and they are all spot on. A genuine person, unselfish in her ways. A special smile. I have fond memories of spending time with her and her family. I feel so blessed to have been able to see her in Florida and spending time enjoying Disney with her. Hugs to all the family and I pray they find strength to help them find comfort. God bless you…❤️

I wanted to send my heartfelt condolences to the entire Rega family on behalf of my myself, my wife and my parents. I remember Diane distinctly for her ever-cheerful nature, and, of course, for always looking out for her youngest brother. Being around her made me wish that I had an older sister.

I have only had the privilege of working with Diane since November of 2021. I loved every chance I had to speak to her — her laugh was contagious, and I really think that I am a better person because of her.

Diane, you are so greatly missed. Until we meet again…

“I hope your dancing in the sky
And I hope your singing in the angels choir
And I hope the angels know what they have
I’ll bet it’s so nice up in heaven since you arrived.”
